Hello!

I have the best neighbors!!

One specifically asked that I make her a baby blanket for her newest little one and then once her 3 year old saw it he wanted one as well.

She sent me over a pattern for the blanket, and since I'd never heard of it I was so excited to get going!

The pattern is free from designer Jonna Martinez and can be found here on Ravelry.

So, without further adieu, here are the blankets that I made for my neighbor using this beautiful pattern!

My neighbor has expressed such appreciation and love for these blankets that it makes me feel so blessed to have this skill to be able to pass along such items for others!

Thinking this is going to be my go-to baby blanket; or maybe just anytime blanket!

Good Morning and welcome to my world!  Here is where the magic of all things homemade and crochet happen!  Lately, it's been more crochet than anything else, but you just never know what will appear on these magically pages!

So, please continue to follow along as I share all my creations with you and some fun little items :)

On my very first post, I thought I would start out with a little bit of an introduction to who I am where I'm planning to go with this blog.

My name is Kristin, 32 year old Massachusetts transplant, residing in lovely (and slightly over-crowded) Maryland.  I have been married to a wonderful man, for 2 years.  Together we live with his 11 year old son and are expecting our first son together in just 2 weeks!  At which time I know life will be soooo different as we know it :)

I have many hobbies, one obviously being crochet and crafts.  But, aside from those are cooking, baking, bike riding, video games, and organizing various rooms around the house (there's a reason that one is last on the list, because I don't get to do it as often as I'd like!)

Well, that's me! I hope you enjoy my blog!

My next post will be a recap of projects I've worked on recently.
